What is PALS

Pediatric Advanced Life Support

People who need this certification are anyone who holds a position that might need to handle emergency treatment of children. It is usually a requirement for physicians, nurses, and paramedics but, a number of others involved in emergency response should hold a certification. CTS and Associates uses a scenario-based training approach to encourage participants to learn how to work as a team to save infants and children. Learn the following:

  • Systematic approach to pediatric assessment
  • Management of respiratory emergencies
  • Infant CPR
  • Child CPR and AED use
  • Key changes in pediatric advanced life support
